I've thought about getting the card myself in the past, but have skipped on it as I'd rather go for the bigger sign on bonus cards. That said, if you shop on Amazon a lot it can be a nice little way to save extra money.

A newer one I found recently was the Amazon credit card that gives you 5% off your purchase. I'm surprised more people don't have it. I have a similar (debit) card at Target and I've literally saved hundreds over the years.

Lots of really good tips and tricks here. I find that one of the most awesome ways to save money is to watch the deal of the day. Some of those deals are outrageous!

Great tips, Jon! I didn't realize they sometimes had different pricing for Prime members - I'll definitely use two browsers next time. I do all of the shopping I realistically can on Amazon (Christmas and otherwise). I don't like going to the store and searching for lower prices. It just seems like a waste of time to me, plus Amazon generally has decent prices. On a recent purchase, they offered me $5 if I loaded $100 onto my gift card. 5 minutes later I purchased the item I needed with the $5 discount. Every little bit helps!
