You'll be surprised. I lived on a small holding but would go out to work. The thieves would break in during the day while I was out and every time they went through my underwear. Just to think of someone fingering through your underwear was disgusting, but you just had to wash it every time as you couldn't afford to buy new undies every time. Curtains don't work either as I live in South Africa and they take those down to wrap up and carry away what they steal. Won't use a toy either. Neither mattress or cushions or the likes.
