I get all those are much cheaper than cable but that's still not free. Don't post that it's free when it really isn't.

Good questions Karla and it's pretty straightforward. Services like <a href="https://www.frugalrules.com/go/hulu-live" rel="noopener" target="_blank">Hulu Live</a> are streaming providers - essentially what you get with cable, but no contract and significantly less money. Fire Stick and Roku are small dongles you plug into your TV to be able to stream content. I'm not tech savvy at all, but it's very simple to do. :)

I am new to this and don’t understand the difference between services like Hulu Live/Sling TV/DirectTV Now and services like Fire stick, Roku, etc. Why are they different and do I need one of each to cut cable and just use streaming? I’m very confused.

Unfortunately, HGTV is not available on YouTube TV Joe. <a href="https://www.frugalrules.com/go/hulu-live" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Hulu Live</a> is going to be your best option to get the channel.
