Which Streaming Services Offer Nickelodeon?
If you or someone in your family enjoys Nickelodeon programming, these seven streaming services will help you get it for about half the cost of cable.
1. Philo
This affordable streaming service lets you watch Nickelodeon as well as Nick Jr., Teennick, and Nicktoons for just $25 per month.
If you enjoy lifestyle and entertainment channels, including a very reasonable way to get Nickelodeon without cable, Philo TV could be the one of the best options for you.
Other popular TV channels it carries include:
- AMC, A&E, Animal Planet
- Discovery Channel
- DIY, Food Network, Lifetime, MTV
- HGTV, History Channel
The only drawback to Philo TV is that it doesn’t let you watch popular sports channels like ESPN or FOX Sports or local channels.
The good news is that you can get local channels for a low, one-time cost by purchasing a simple digital antenna like the Mohu Leaf. We bought two Mohu Leaf digital antennas on Amazon and love using them.

2. Sling TV
One of the highlights of this streaming service is its user guide. The menu and navigation are very user friendly and make it easy to find what you want to watch quickly.
Sling TV’s reliable streaming quality and affordable cost make it one of the best alternatives to cable. Unfortunately, Sling TV does not offer Nickelodeon, showing how Nickelodeon can be a tricky network to watch for cord cutters.

While it is a bit on the more expensive side, it does come with strong platform support, a good user experience, and excellent streaming quality.

4. Vidgo
This streaming service is one of the few options to offer Disney Channel and Nickelodeon. Reasonably priced, Vidgo offers content from the most popular networks along with a host of fun social sharing options.
Chat rooms, GIF and meme makers, along with the ability to create and share short reaction videos with friends and fans are just a few of the cool features that set Vidgo apart from other streaming services.
The service has two packages: the “Plus” package includes 95+ channels for $55 per month and the “Premium” packages has 112+ channels for $80 per month. It also has a free seven day trial before you sign up for the service.
It offers Nickelodeon, along with Nick Jr., and Nick Toons in its lineup. Other family-friendly favorites include:
- Disney Jr., Disney Channel, Disney XD, Freeform
- Animal Planet, Discovery Family
- INSP Kids

Until recently, Hulu with Live TV did not offer Nickelodeon. In May 2021, Hulu added the channel and Nick Jr. to its base package as a part of introducing Viacom networks to the platform.
The live TV streaming service has over 80 popular networks, including local channels. If you want a good mix of live sports, news, and lifestyle content, Hulu is a terrific choice.
It also has a ton of original content that comes with the service.
If you want NickToons or TeenNick, you will need to purchase the Entertainment Package add-on for $7.99 per month.

Yes, you are able to watch Nickelodeon content on Paramount+.
The channel is a part of the ViacomCBS family of networks, and Nickelodeon content was recently added to the Paramount streaming service alongside other ViacomCBS shows.

Can I Watch Nickelodeon for Free?
Unfortunately, there is no good way to watch the Nickelodeon live stream online for free, at least not everything Nickelodeon streams.

How Can I Watch Old Nickelodeon Shows?
If you are a fan of ’90s shows from Nickelodeon you can still watch them. Many of the above live TV streaming services have on-demand content to watch vintage shows.
However, the best choice to watch old Nickelodeon shows is Paramount+. The Paramount network app includes numerous shows from the ’90s, and is an excellent way to watch Nick Jr. shows from the past.
Can I Watch Nickelodeon on Apple TV, Chromecast, Fire TV, or Roku?
Yes. Just about any streaming device, including the following popular streaming platforms will work: Roku, Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick, Apple TV, Chromecast, Android TV, and iOS.
Summary
There’s no reason today to spend over $150 per month on a cable contract. You can watch Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., Teennick, and Nicktoons without cable through any of the streaming services mentioned here.
